Hello, I have been a ham since 1976, previous calls have been WD5AGV, KB4HWI, N4RAE, K5RLM and now W5LW. In 2007 I returned to the hobby after several years away from it and I am having a blast. In November 2008 I upgraded to Extra class and decided to go for the 1X2 callsign. I look forward to working other stations and DX. My current station is a Icom 746, LDG AT1000 1KW auto antenna tuner, ITT/MacKay Solid State Commercial 1.5KW+ Amplifier, 160/80 meter dipole at 40 feet. I have a Mosley TA33 tribander with the TA40KR 40 meter add-on at the top of a 40 foot tower. Enjoying SSTV, RTTY, PSK31 as well as SSB and some CW. My cw is very rusty.
